Bustafellows - Shu's route

I've finished Shu yesterday. I didn't have high hopes with him as I didn't particularly like him in any other routes however playing his route was a game changer! What surprised me the most is, how he is breathtakingly beautiful on the right and he is always featured with his weaker left side.

I loved the CGs in the route. We had many handsome Shu photos, all of them made me think I'll set them as a wallpaper!

I had a badass bad boy impression of him before his route. Whether he was planned to be one or not, he turned out to be a decent guy, loving, sensitive guy. I loved it. I loved how easily he fell in love and became a gentle person. In the same time, I found it weird that the girl didn't dwell on his jobs and all he did. Well, I wouldn't so it suits me, but wouldn't that be normal to be surprised and require time to wrap her head around?

Altogether the routes are very short and it is the same on Shu's route, but it was pretty enjoyable. I just went with the flow without anxiously thinking about my backlog. Also whenever Mozu stood up for me, I loved him just as I did in his route, so I guess he is my favourite? His thinking is so straight and never changes in routes, he is who he is and giving Shu advices, he seem to be a rational character that is genuinely cares about the MC. Sorry, I had to point him out.

Shu's route is the most interesting so far and I have only Helvetica left. It's because it had a few turns and interesting secrets popped up surprising me. I really enjoyed this route and the concept of loving an older guy, but let me be honest... he isn't that old. The game kept me thinking he must be 10+ older than us, and it was only 7 years. Me and my boyfriend have the same age gap and he never tried to act like a big boy or old mad compared to me. It's not like your boyfriend is your dad's age or am I wrong? What do you all think/thought about it?

I'm going to play Helvetica now and whenever I'm finished I'll try to finish the game on 100%. I'll be back with my bitesize review. I don't really like him at the moment so I hope he'll have the best route!

See you all soon! xX

Bustafellows - Mozu's route

I'm back to this game as I left Mozu behind last year. I'm guilty in not finishing games before getting new games so I have a great deal of otome with unfinished routes.

Mozu's route was my favourite so far, his personality gave me hard times. I always had to answer the opposite of what I wanted to say and his explanations made me happy. I like weird but intelligent guys and that's what he is. Surprisingly he's also very sensitive and deals with his feelings in a unique way of not understanding them. He is a perfect person for someone like me. He needs support with his own feelings, but doesn't require help as he probably wouldn't understand. He is also amusing.

The end of the route was disappointing for me, however his confession was my favourite... I didn't know if I ended up on the good ending or messed up somehow...? I still have to find this out as I didn't find this a happy ending. Apart from being loved by him...

All together, I'm happy and ready to continue with Shu. I haven't got much affection to Helvetica but... I'll eventually finish his route too as it is quite a good game.

It's just a short one this time as I kept a long break in the middle of the route, but stay with me in my next post!

Collar x Malice - Sasazuka Takeru's route

Hey ya all!!! I have just finished Sasazuka's route in Collar x Malice.
It surprised me, and let me tell he was a pretty positive experience. I know he is quite popular, but even though that, he was my least desired character to pursue... But as I usually am, I played it honestly and honesty put me on his route.

And there is one thing no one mentioned before... He is actually really sweet. It didn't take long for me to warm up to him, because he isn't as mean as everyone described him. Not at the least.

The storyline was amazing. I never got stuck, never felt bored, and always felt the care but it never was too too too disgustingly romantic. It was JUST as I like it^^

Also I never in my wildest dream could imagine how I'll have more romance during an investigation where my life is at stake than in an actual romantic setting such as Cupid Parasite. But I definitely had... Sasazuka dropped the sweetest moments from the beginning and I was absolutely unaware.

Also, apart from one mistake, which was the shooting, I managed to get a good ending that was also so sweet and satisfying... And by that I mean I only died once bc I didn't know that I had to shoot, please, my gun was in the middle of that target and not the target!!! It took me a few minutes to figure out that must have been a mini-game.I'll also mention it because it is rare... I checked my answers with a walkthrough afterwards, and it appears I only chose the answers that led to a good ending without a single mistakeT_T This fact makes me think we were a perfect match, lol^^

One more thing... I was looking forward to Mineo's route up until now, but he appeared to be such a simple puppy, I'm not sure... I might be annoyed.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, please do not hold back! I want to know what you all thought of the game and the characters! I'm really enjoying the game so I'd like to discuss it!^^

Birushana - Shungen's route

Hello, everyone!

As I promised, I'm back with my Birushana post that I planned to post during my holiday back in August. Even though I didn't manage, and then I forgot, scrolling through my beautiful memories did the job and now I'll post about our Shungen.

So Sungen... What should I say... I mean, his route obviously wasn't as passionate as Noritsune's route, but he was a sweetheart. I haven't found a spot I did not like in him. There was a plot twist that basically saved the story in eyes. I think everyone knows what am I referring to. But I wasn't quite satisfied with it. All together, I loved Shungen, and the story is interesting at an amazing spot in the history, but it was a tiny bit neglected. I mean, it had a lots of potential and they seemed to miss most of them.

Even though that I still bought a huge book on the Heike topic, because it is a precious part of the history and a precious part of my history as well. I'll probably pour that sorry on you in my blog as soon as I get to write there too!

I read "The summer Hikaru died" vol 1

I just received my copy today afternoon. I started reading it straight after I got home from work and honestly I bought it without reading the blurb. I didn't quite know what to expect, but I fell in love with this title.

I'll be honest. I thought the story line will lead us through a long struggle that ends up with Hikaru's dead. I was quite surprised when I sat down with my hot tea to read and found out what it is really about.

I'm still shocked that I read the whole piece without stopping for a toilet break or to make another tea as I usually do whatever I read. It just pulled me in and I feel like I'm mixing with it:'D

The story is basically about two boys. The two spent their lives sticked together as best friends. But one day Hikaru went to the mountains and disappeared for a week. He then came back with no memories about the whole thing. At least, this is the official version, but his best friend knows better. As a typical best childhood friend/ probably secret lover, Yoshiki knows well; the person came back, isn't his friend anymore. And he spills the tea in the very first chapter.

The story and the drawing style is kinda dark. It uses long stretching shadows for the vibe and also a lot of shadows and weird faces that makes all the suffer so savage that you could cut it with a knife. But honestly. It's creepy, but so sad in the same time. And also... this boy handles his best friend and possible lover's death in a way that is not actually normal, but given the situation, it is not surprising at all.

It ends in a cruel way that makes me want to read the next chapter, but I have to wait until it is released.

I meant to be mentioning the appearance of the book first, but I'm still in shock. I love it so much, it almost makes me forget about the fact that it came with a small damage on the spine. A really small one, but definitely noticeable and I bought it as new! The cover is also a small mm shorter than the pages it covers but the pages are made of nice thick paper.

The drawing style is not just beautiful, but amazingly overwhelming and it does make a huge impact on one's soul. Yoshiki is just as beautiful as an angel, I can't get enough of him on the pages. I just want to touch his adorable face and messy hair every time he has his hair in his eyes and looks so dull but tortured in the same time.

I just can't wait for the next volume. I honestly believe, this is a worthy manga for me to collect even though I don't intend to collect manga.

Piofiore Fated Memories - After game thoughts (with spoilers)

I've just finished Piofiore, and I'm speechless, but I'll start it from the very beginning.

I got started with this one at the end of February. I used to play these games without trying to get the best endings and for the first time, I'm just honest. This is how I ended up on Dante's route.

Dante is a sweet guy, I think he is still my favorite since then. But his route took my life away for weeks so I had to keep myself away from it. It was probably because I played it with fewer and didn't feel well anyway.

After returning to the game, I made sure to choose a character to keep me entertained. I got into the game so much on Yang's route! It was so interesting and fast pace, that I realized, I found Dante's route rather boring. I mean... Lili was safe all of the time by the side of Dante, but Yang... could kill her if she said something wrong. Whatever, I unexpectedly loved him! He is horrible, and I'd never love anyone like him in real life but in the game, he had the absolute best route!

Everyone was interesting to me after Yang but I realized, I should have followed the recommended order which is Nicola, Yang, Dante, Orlok, and Gilbert who will unlock the final route.

It's interesting, how the common route is very short, I didn't even know, when I got on the route first. It was unexpected because you gain more and more with every route you complete. I also liked the number of saving slots, since I like to save a lot and keep them for later. The music and the art of the characters are first class, I really liked everyone. The stories are interesting, and the end that you can unlock after playing through every route is the best. I liked how there is a main story and every route built around it, but non touch the story of the other routes except for the real ending at the very end, which is parallel with Gil's route for a few chapters. I really enjoyed the game, I think it will be one of my favorites.

About the characters

I'll include this here because I'm not planning to review them one by one.

Dante: I started with Dante, he is a soft, nice guy. His speech is very calming, and I enjoyed his character so much. I could definitely imagine a guy like him in real life as my boyfriend, but his route wasn't as interesting for me. It felt too safe, it felt too good, even though he was a fated love for Lili. Actually, I also liked the idea of fated lovers. It's just as interesting as the childhood friend, especially after we find out how Dante liked us since he first saw Lili at the church... but he had to keep his distance. After his route, I thought there wasn't any more to the story, and it kind of seemed right in anyone else's route until the very last route. I was surprised that the story had so much to it.

Yang: I'll be honest. I didn't think, I'll like him. I didn't even like him as I did like Dante, but also I enjoyed him. He was interesting, he was dangerous. His story wasn't boring for a minute, it was amazing. Kept me wondering if he will ever feel the love! I wasn't very surprised by the tragic ending, but the good end did surprise me, I couldn't quite get how on earth could that be a good end, even the tragic end was better.

Nicola: I spent lots of time with hating Nicola quietly in other routes but it turned out, he was a decent guy. I thought he will betray Lili or there will be something in the tragic end which is connected to his sneaky behavior. But... no, he wasn't anything like that. He even had an amazing best end and a sweet good end. Even in his tragic ending, he kept Lili close and needed her. It was shocking... because Lili had to wait for him all alone. Without a pet, without seeing anyone in the manor... behind her door. I usually don't mind these kinds of situations, but hers was a really bad, unexplained one. I could not find a real reason for imprisoning her.

Orlok: He was a sweet guy, and even though most of the reviews stated he was boring, he wasn't for me. He was special, he was innocent and loveable. He had the saddest best ending and the cruelest tragic ending. That ending burned into me, I enjoyed it a lot, but he didn't deserve that life. I'd save him on my back as he is so cute and pure. Even his best ending was surprising in a little negative way.

Gil: I found his looks are the most convincing. I loved the eyepatch, and his route was also interesting, but I just didn't get how he ended up as the unlockable character. His route didn't contain any spoilers about the ending, and we didn't get any more info about this whole story. Even though, he ended up being the half of the very true ending.

Henry: He had a very small route of a few chapters. It was heartwarming with one ending. I actually liked him even though he turned out to be the direttore who was the most suspicious person of all through the game. I liked his ending and their innocent relationship.

Bustafellows - Limbo's route !Spoiler alert!

Unexpectedly, Limbo proved to be a little more interesting than I thought. At first, he looks like just that boy, who you fell in love with, because he looks so good, but had nothing behind him. But he... no he was actually a sweet boy with shady businesses.

He has a normal family, and he does a very good job. He has different views of justice, but you can see how he is actually right. But apart from him being cute, and his route...

There is this guy Navid. Navid is an old friend of Limbo's, but he also... is a weird person. I was thrilled with joy when I read his first attempt to make Limbo suffer. He actually told him, he will get a bomb go of under the heroine and she will become no more than PINK MIST! I mean... I grew up with horror movies, and I love this kind of approach. The route was interesting because Teuta was constantly in danger without knowing, but I knew, and I didn't always have the chance to choose what to do or say.

At some point, Navid made Teuta kill herself. I mean, he tried hard... And I managed to get both ends. It was pretty sweet at the end of the Good ending, where Limbo was happy but also... I enjoyed the Bad ending so much!

I liked how they made good use of this power of hers, just as in Scarecrow's route. Even though I thought she would use it more often. Not as if it was needed...

Even Though I enjoyed this route, I didn't see the flames of love between these two, which bothered me a little. I know about the B side, but I still haven't played it after not enjoying Crow's B side. Also, I just can't wait to play Mozu or Shu but I'm still lazy to start it on the computer so I keep playing other games on the lite.

Amnesia memories - After game thoughts

I know, I know... I should have posted this a few months ago, but I was busy playing other games. Shhh... Let's start at the very beginning.

A brief year ago, I was still on my mobile otome game and didn't quite know about the shady world of Nintendo games. I mean... 2D guys, a couple of photos, a few bg music and a good story. I didn't think highly of the industry. Even when I bought Amnesia back in November, I thought of it as some cheap game. I'll get myself through while I'm bored as I usually do around winter afternoons.

Soon after starting the game, I knew, it was a grave mistake to underestimate the game, because I loved the story dearly. As usual, I planned to get the game and play Shin's route. He is the cover boy, and I liked his looks. After playing Shin, the game drew me in and I naturally played all the other routes one by one without getting bored of the game or the guys. And in the end, I was thrilled, because I got this amazing game on a Steam discount for less than 4 pounds.

To be quick and spoiler free, the game is about a young girl, who happens to lose her memories without a cause and starts seeing a very kind and friendly ghost, who's willing to help her get her memories back in order to get himself separated again.

It is a multiple-dimensional game. Every love interest has his own world and the heroine's memories always belong to the actual world. Before the girl (US) wakes up, we can choose the world to wake up in. The worlds are marked with the French card's motives, so we shouldn't know which world is which world until someone starts an interaction with us in a world.

Orion, our spirit companion warns us that there could be bad people who exploit our amnesia, so we have to keep it secret as long as we can trust someone enough to tell them. We can actually reach a point when we talk about even Orion. Isn't it sound quite crazy?

There are also gauges to tell the levels of trust, affection and suspicion. Our job is to rise trust and affection and to keep suspicion low. Also, there is a doubt gauge in one of the routes, and I missed it from another route too. It was a shame, that we didn't have it.

The end of the game then finally gives an explanation of everything that happened in the game. Some never liked it and others did. As far as I've seen other otome gamers, not much of them had it as a favourite from who I know from Instagram, but I hope there are others like me. It was an exciting game from the start, and I even fell in love with the biggest red flag in the game. Actually, I think, from all the otome red flags, he is the one who I really understood. And probably that is why I never felt like he was a red flag.

The game has a few mini-games built in and a few stories from the love interests point of view. I really recommend clearing them. They aren't only to unlock the achievements but they are also really good. I liked especially Shin's story.

As most of you might already know, this is how I bought my first Nintendo. I was browsing the internet, reading all the reviews on the blogs, and I found new photos of the game. This led me to a blog stating facts about the fan disc. I was pretty lucky because the English translation just came out last year as far as I know, so I was just in time to get it at the highest price from the USA. I bought a Nintendo switch lite because it's cute enough and I planned to sell it after playing this one game!! (but since then I've spent a fortune on other otome games, and instead of selling it, I'll play it until rotten)

I'll make sure to post a few spoiler-rich route discussions for those who already finished the game. I hope I'll get a few comments on what you thought of the game and the characters.

Keep safe and play as much as you can!

Bustafellows - Scarecrow's route !Spoiler alert!

I've been playing through myself so hard in these games, that I forgot to take some time to review one another routes or so.

I wish to mention this game, Bustafellows.

The game has this weird title, and the weird boys in it. Almost all of them are charming, but today I'll highlight Crow-chan.

At first, I like to experience every otome, as a real adventure, so I never use a guide. I'm not playing for the good ending, I'm doing everything for my personal real ending. That is how I ended up on this route. I was pretty honest and I clumsily ruined my chances to be loved by Limbo. But I actually didn't mind, since Scarecrow is sweet. And yes, he has a story. The route was also interesting for me, and I ended up enjoying the game despite the hardships at the beginning.

I don't want to dive deep into the controlling of the game in this post, but this was the hardship part. I bought it on steam, and it definitely wasn't perfect for pc, but I learnt the lesson.

So, the whole common route isn't just started as a lovey-dovey story and ended up being sweet. No. It started as a crime, and it had a noir taste a little. At least for me. The city seems to be a big city like New York, but it is called New Sieg. Also we have this shady feeling of something's off in the background, but it is usually chill and fun with the guys.

To not to talk about the others, let's go with Crow straightaway. He is a hacker and he has this big luxurious house where we all live. It didn't caught me off-guard that I ended up in the hackers route, I do have something going on with hackers honestly. And also I like sweet guys. Well... too.

His route made us know him a little more. I think I got close to him somewhere inside. There was also a fun twist. I mean I thought it would be fun, but at the end it wasn't. And also... it was forceful, not fun and not used well.

And here is where my spoiler starts.

So... there we got this chapter which is actually the route's A side. And in the teaser, we can catch a glimpse of Crow being really gap moe, and attempts to kill the heroine. That seem somehow interesting, but deeper in the story when we realize what truly happens, it isn't fun. It is... another personality disorder or something? It ends up as a little drama, but nothing more. They ended up together, and so the personality isn't seem to be bothering them further... which is... WHAT? honestly... Okay, I still wasn't able to unlock the further episodes, and I don't know what to expect. But this is weird.

And the worst possible way they ruined his route was the B side of the story. Scarecrow being all cute and lovely more a boy than a man, but very worthy of love and... The MC I liked all the way through the route, suddenly acts soooooo mean towards this nice guy. She is rude, not fun and likeable on the B side anymore. Crow is still cute, and it was not enjoyable for me to see him treated like that. I wish I never played B side. It should have been a treat to get some cute romance, but the girl ended up bullying the guy who likes him. I'm not sure what to think. They probably meant it just as teasing as a couple, but it didn't come through for me.

What your thoughts was of B side? Let me know down below the comment section. See you all later!

Code: Realize Lupin's route

Lupin's first chapter is already reaching my expectations. Finally the story ends up where I wanted it to end up.

He is a very gentle person. He calls the girl Lady and his smooth talking unexpectedly worked on me.

He is the guy I usually go after for the first look, but his personality actually totally different. I don't quite like the smooth talkers, but Lupin didn't make me angry at all. All his talks and flatters just suited his gentlemen style, and I felt it pretty honest. Maybe because he is one of the LI's in an otome game. Should be perfect.

His story also gave me what I wanted for first. Actually.. I missed a proper ending from all the routes. I think the story should have ended even if we aren't fall in love with Lupin.

This is the first route where it was possible to see Isaac Beckford who we all are looking for.

In the meantime I realized, why I wasn't right earlier. Impey's and Saint-Germain's route really did spoil Lupins route a littlebit.

I finally came to understand what a true ending means in this game. It actally means, the others didn't reach an end only a love end. ?

Lupin's last two chapters are the longest in the whole story. It gives us a proper end to the story. He is a complete gentleman, and pretty cute. But at this point, let me be honest... I haven't quite fall for him. Hard to admit, but in the whole game Impey and Victor are the best and for me... Impey won the prize. Even if he fell into my MUST AVOIDS labelled basket (long haired guys).

However, he was pretty cute and he even gave us signs in the common route not as all the others.

Code: Realize Impey's route

Let me tell you, I am the most impressed by the fact, Impey's route was my favourite.

I left him for last before Lupin, because... I have a pretty swallow reason, but how else could I choose without knowing them.. I just didn't like his long hair. Actually, I don't like long haired LIs. Fact.

BUT

After the scene which taken place right before the illegal airship battle, I guessed, there will be a little more in Impey than a dumb womanizer.. But the great hit came in his route.

I wasn't very intrested in him so I was like... Let's go through it fast to get Lupin. Since... Lupin is just my type.

I tried reading it pretty fast at the beginning, but after the first choices when I could actually give him positive feedback, made my heart flutter.

He is pretty precious. He is even kinder than Victor and he is a funbag, which is kind of annoying... I know, I like fun and I like fun guys, but joking with my feelings isn't half fun. And also I know how much I love Seven from MysticMessenger. But he is actually fun from the beginning. Impey needs some time to be understood.

When I've seen him being an engineer, I though that I could like him with short hair... But I didn't mean it this way.

He came up with this idea of the moon which is kind of ridicilous in the victorian england. And he was joking about women, also with my non existing love stuff. Isn't it... Weird?

But after telling him stuff, he grew on me.

Hes cute face after hearing me saying I'm happy being his soulmate or seeing him being happy after telling him I loved him out of panik... Well... Made me seriously like him a lot.

Also.. After I didn't really like Saint-Germain's route, because of several different reasons, it was pretty refreshing to jump into Impey's route. This route gave this cute feeling that I'm in love with a pretty normal guy who is actually pretty weird and crazy in a way, but also serious towards "me".

He would sacrifice his life for mine. And I know, I know... Every single one of them would. But for an immortal and a war sinner it is different.

Impey was the only one out of 4 who wasn't broken under the pressure of hes own sin. He was the one character suffering from the sins the other characters carried. And you know what?! It was another busstop on the love express. He has a pure heart, and it was another refreshing fact after so many revenge.

I will even go that far to state Impey's route was the most enjoyable for me.

Hes personality had several bulletpoint that eventually melts my heart.

1, he is passionate about his goal (it is even better that it's in connection with the space)

2, he is fun. It is annoying at the beginning, but honestly I usually like fun guys.

3, he is pure, innocent and worthy for love.

4, he is also a pretty good engineer.. That could be the victorian version of a hacker (I'm usually crushing on hackers)

Also... I was absolutely aware of the girls poison, but Impey was the first Character I wished he would kiss that girl. He had the opportunity but he didn't show his beast side. I hope that will change in future blessings.

Code: Realize Saint-Germain's route

I was a little surprised. It was a very nice change for first. We're kidnapped by Saint-Germain and he made these little hint's about him being creepy. Brrr.

He had a pretty good reason to exterminate "us" so we should be understaning. But still. I'm not the type to hate the yandere type. I was also fond of Toma in Amnesia, but Sain-Germain was different in several differen ways.

Honestly, this route came as lightning. I was pretty happy, that I didn't go with him for first and second. Also I think, Impey's route which I have left, won't be able to beat it. I think this is the game where you have to do everyone in a good order and Saint-G goes as last before Lupin.

I read something about one route spoiling other routes, but it can't be true, as the story isn't the same. There is games like Mystic messenger where the background story is the same and you are just there to experience it from different angles.

Code: Realize isn't this type of a game. Each character has different route with different enemy, which only makes sense if you look at the routes as individuals.

Saint-Geirmain's route was the first, where someone ever mentioned a thing about Isaac Beckford. They are looking for this guy, and I just never understood, how can we reach a good ending without finding what we are looking for..?

Also a thing I didn't quite like. Their progression was far too fast at the beginning, and the whole thing turned out just too fast. I had smilar feeling with Victor an Van Helsing as they are only 5 chapers long too, but this one was soo promising idea, and it could have been a little more detailed for me.

Anyway. An interesting idea and I loved Omnibus. She looks like my grandmother's sister. She was quite heart warming. The headquarters was also a pretty nice place. Stuck in a very nice spring afternoon doesn't sound half bad. To be honest, it might sounds a little boring but I could imagine myself in a life like that. For a while. Or so.

The happy ending didn't seem as happy as it was for the others. First time I thought it was a normal end that I'm getting. It just finished to promise a sequel...

I was definitely thrilled when Saint-G opened his eyes for the first time. He looked much better, than before and he was also weird but cute. He didn't become my favourite at all, but I liked his extra.

I liked, how many possibility I had to die from only one mistake, but apart from that, I'm sure if it is not possible to reach a normal or bad ending at the very end. I looked up on the normal end and someone managed to reach it. I tried rejecting the offer from Omnibus but I still had the same ending.

Code: Realize Van Helsings route

To be honest, I liked him so much. I thought he will be more... Well... Rude, or so. I thought we might even fight, but  this heroine isn't the type.

I'm getting used to the fact, the plot isn't quite what I've expected after reading the description. I thought there will be a bit more "I can't touch/kiss you, but I want to... So badly." I'm a little dissappointed, because I was looking forward to see their longing for eachother..

I got a little back though in Van Helsings route who is way more sexy than cute, so he gave us a hint, but nothing more than a hint. I especially enjoyed his extra. I felt filthy because I misunderstood instantly. Am I the only one who expected him to do something else? I doubt that.

Also the heroine used to call him Van Helsing... Whilest she called Frankenstein by his first name. Another thing I missed... Once again, they got rid of the Lupin gang for a romantic ending. Now they didn't even say goodbye to eachother, but again, they didn't find anything about Isaac Beckford and I know there is still 3 routes left for me to play, but even if she doesn't fall in love with him, Lupin made a promise about freeing her from her poison and in Van Helsing's route, they didn't help her at all!

Also I know there is another games to add to this story, but for now, we didn't get the ending we (or maybe just me) were waiting for. If this game was new and I had to wait for the sequel another years... for the money of a new nintendo switch game's price, I would be as happy with it as I am now.

Fortunately it is 2023, and I kind of like it just yet. I've got the future blessings and the wintertide miracles at hand, so I don't intend to complain. I hope I'll be happy at the very end too.

Now, have a nice evening everyone!

Minagi over and out!

Code: Realize Victor's route

I've just finished with Victor's route, and I don't even know where to start to keep all the spoilers for myself.

I cried at the end, even though I didn't reach a bad ending. It was sweet and happy. Honestly, I didn't cry over Victor or the Heroine. I cried because of Victoria. First of all. Victoria is one of the most respected ruler of the Great Britain  and there is another thing, but don't rush that much.

So we have this girl. Usually if I end up playing an otome game, I give the name, Minagi and this way I make her be me.

It is not happening in Code: Realize. This is a very complex story, it's not only based on romance and the most important brick in this story the heroine itself. She has this poison in her which can even kill whoever she touches. Apart from other otome games, where the heroine is you and this way she can't have a heavy past or rich background story, in Code: Realize, the Heroine is really the main character and the boys are just here to help and give her love and support.

To be honest, I just couldn't wait to end up in a route and it took me days to reach my goal. Then, it took me 1 afternoon to finish what I was working so hard for that long.

I personally think, Victor's route (I still have the others left) was short, but intense. I really enjoyed it. I really enjoyed him, this gentle, kind hearted man. So clever, so brave so precious. I loved, how shy but cute he was and this slow process of falling in love with him. I didn't cry over his past as the heroines past was about similar on the horrible gauge.

In this route... somehow... I ended up having an unusual favorite. I cherish him a lot, since he is a pretty good person. Leonhart. As much as I didn't like him at the beginning, I came to like him for who he was. Also I pitied queen Victoria.

Let's just be honest, the best voice actor in the game is undoubtedly Victoria's. She was ridiculously cocky as a queen against just Victor, a wanted person and just an innocent girl... But.. As we reach the end which we are not disguising right now, Seeing herself in a different light she changed. Seeing Leonhart's actions I just could feel her voice giving an intense feeling, I wasn't able to keep my tears back. Her last scene took the whole show. Her play was amazing, that is why I checked it out to pin it here to advertise her name. Naomi Iida. It was just soo filled with emotions, it was moving.

I liked this route, and I'm looking forward to the others. Especially Lupins, but I'm also quite interested in Van Helsing.

Bakemono vs Kaibutsu

Whilest I'm playing Code:Realize, I had an important question. There is usually a word I hear in japanese, and it means monster, but in this game they call the heroine kaibutsu instead and it's still translated as monster. So to get my answers, I spent some time surfing on the internet, looking for the answer.

It turned out, Bakemono (化け物) and Kaibutsu (怪物) aren't quite has the same meaning, but still they are very close. As you can see, mono and butsu are written with the same kanji and the meaning is the same.

Whiles bakemono means a thing that has "changed", it can be a ghost or a ghostlike thing, a shape shifter or people or animal that can turn into a monster. If you take a quick look on Parasyte the maxim, they call those parasites bakemono, because they are non humans and can change their shape to melt into the crowd. They also use this word quite often in Mayoiga, the lost town. (I watched that anime by mistake when I planed to see Free and I just didn't pay attention on what am I playing on crunchyroll. It was my best mistake, I enjoyed it even more than Free.) In this anime, they arrive into a hauned town, where noone lives. They dissapeared, and they call these ghostlike things bakemono

I've seen kaibutsu as a title for a more beastlike anime. It means "unkown" thing. It's usually an unnatural, huge strong, beastlike thing, however an earthy way of using it is for suspicious and mysterious things or people.

I hope this helped you out too! x

New year otome plans

Hello all, and happy new year! I hope you will have a pretty wonderful time this year.

The past year was a rollercoaster for me. I quit my job I've done for the last 5 years, and spent a generous time for myself and self improvement this year. I'v started an online japanese course, which I find very effective, and I wish I was less lazy, I could learn so fast if it wasn't for my laziness.  Probably I would be able to play otome games in japanese already...

Also this year... I started playing an otome game on my laptop. Just in november... I've been into these since the march of 2021, but I played them only on my phone. I didn't know, there is so much high quality otome visual novels these days, and I've been missing out from so much!

That is why in this past december, I gathered all my courage to buy a nintendo switch lite. You can read about in my previous post.

Since then, I gathered a few games I want to play this year. Take it as my New Years Otome Resolution.

Amnesia Later & Crowd

My top priority game this year. I MUST play it through. So this is the game made me spend a whole bunch of money on the game itself, which is a fortune compare to the steam price (I bought it for £3), and a nintendo switch lite, and then again... cute stuff for my lite. I'll show them in a different post + instagram.

So, the game is a sequel and contains two shorter games. I loved the so many choices in the first one, and I loved how it all depends on me. I really could feel that I am the one telling this story with my choices. It really a must!

Code:Realize Guardian of rebirth

To be honest, I already started the game, because I couldn't just wait any more for Amnesia to arrive. It is a very nice steampunk story. I'm not quite feel that usual otome feeling with the heroine though. I don't know if I like it or not. It suits this story, but I usually like to think, that the MC is me. Might sounds weird, but that emptiness they usually have, gives us the freedom to feel however we want. I'll talk about this later in a review kind of post. At the beginning of the story, I was afraid that I'll won't like it but it gets just better later, keep up playing!  I know it's not a new game, but it's one base stone for otome gamers, and I just can't miss out from something like this.

Code: Realize Future blessings

It is also a must, after I played Guardian of rebirth. I read some positive thoughts of it. Some said, it gives a lot to the story. I'm looking forward to this one aswell.

Code: Realize Winter Miracles

I sincerely hope, I'll be able to play this through in january or february the latest... or let's hope for some snow in march...? maybe... I don't want to rush with the other two, so I'm ready to play it in december if it doesn't work out, haha. It sounds like a cute winter story. Must for everyone already played the previous games.

Piofiore Fated Memories

This is also a game I see a lot in the otome community. I just can't wait to play it, since I've seen this guy with the eyepatch. They are all very good looking, the drawing looks the type I really enjoy too. And the way they dress... just caught my eye. I wish I could start all of them in the same time, but that wouldn't work, so I have to wait for these guys. I'm considering the new sequel, Piofiore episodio 1926 for the game, but I already feel ripped of after buying this lot of games and a switch lite + cute case and thumb grips, so let's see.

There is also a few games I'll keep an eye on. For exaple, Collar x MaliceCafe Enchante and many more,  but I believe this is enough for now.

New Nintendo Switch Lite^^

 Hello peeps!

As I mentioned on Instagram, I've come to talk about my new device, my reasons for making this sudden decision, also Why am I not having one yet.

Sooo, my only decent reason to buy this Nintendo switch lite is Amnesia. I recently bought Amnesia memories on steam (on an autumn sale ), and I only bought it, because it was discounted. To be honest Shin's face made me want the game... well, he's cute. I bought it, because of Shin. I loved it so much! I still didn't finish the last route though.

(In my actual review, I'll also talk about my favourite character, I just can't wait to give him extra love.

So I'm pretty much into this game these days, and browsing on otome blogs, I quickly realized there was something I'm missing out on steam. The sequels!  but... WHAT?! How can a game about a sudden amnesia caused by a spirit have a sequel??? - I thought. I still don't know the answer. But I want to find out, and the game isn't on steam nor other places for PC. But it was released in English this year on Nintendo switch lite.

It's not a cheap business to decide...

I'm mean, I never felt the need for a Nintendo switch and it's only one game. I bought Amnesia Memories for about £3 on steam and this sequel, depending on the place where you buy it can be £35-40. (On the Nintendo online shop the non-physical version is discounted to £29,24 for a few days but I need the cartridge) Plus the device which is £200 on amazon. And there is a high chance, I won't want to use it anymore as I didn't need it until now.

So I made a quick search on the most popular newest otome games I'm interested in, and checked the titles on steam. I made a decision, if the best games won't be available on steam then I'll buy it. Apart from Taisho and Alice, Steam Prison and Bustafellows that I already have, wasn't much more.

This decision was really out of blue. So I've spent a few days on Instagram, browsing photos of Nintendo devices to find out which is the best fit for me. And what else if not the pink lite?! Then I bought the stuff.

I didn't feel the usual uneasiness after spending that much suddenly, because my mom sent me money this year instead of her usual Christmas parcel she used to fill with presents. (Actually she sent me something after saying she won't... and it got lost already in the middle of the recent strikes also I have to pay custom charges once they'll finally send the notice. My parcel arrived over a week ago and I only know about it, because she had to admit it after the parcel gone lost)

For now, I'm pretty happy with my new Nintendo Switch Lite (I'll put it under the Christmas tree I promise). I already have Code: Realize, Please look forward to my review!

Ikemen Sengoku - Romance Across Time

The first time I've ever seen the word otome was when I decided to try Ikemen Sengoku, as a FREE game on google play store. I'm not sure if I'm connected to it deeply caused by this fact or other methods, but I still love it.

The game is free to download and play. But! How could it be free, if you have to spend money on it if you reach an intimacy checkpoint? So it's only free to roam around until a checkpoint. Anyways, If you only use 5 tickets a day, you can save on it. I couldn't. It was the first online game, I wasted lot's of money on. Really. Especially on Ieyasu's route.

The game is about an ordinary girl who's travelling to Kyoto for an interview. Also she just broke up with her boyfriend. This fact has nothing to do with the story. The girl's just finished her interview and hoping to get the job. She is sewing some stuff but all we know about is bearsache, a plush bear she sew. We don't know if she's lucky with the job, but she's not with the weather. In a few seconds a big storm forms above her and a young good looking scientist she just met.

After a huge lightning, she finds herself in a fire, who knows where, but she don't have time to find it out. There's a man in the fire, who she immediately saves. Later on, this good looking guy tells her this place is happens to be honno-ji (the temple where Nobunaga died after Mitsuhide's betrayal) and he is actually Oda Nobunaga, a famous person from history books. She quickly notices... she went back in time. After she manages to escape from this guy called Nobunaga, we will meet the other LI's. There is a lot!

Depending on your choice, you'll fall in love one of the sengoku warlords, and you'll live in their castles. You choose before the game, so you don't have to worry about getting someone else. Your responses giving you romantic, dramatic or both points and you can experience these 2 endings. Depending on your choice.

The game has other features like gacha, and you can customize your MC. Which customization won't appear on the special photos you unlock during the story. There is parts where you can get voice photos. And eventually there are spicy premium stories as well. Nothing too much. There is always some events with extra stories for rewards.

I highly recommend this game for those playing on mobile devices. There is also a season 2.

I love the sengoku period, and this game not only used the characters from it, they also used the real history. Well... with small changes. I just couldn't put it down, I wanted to know what's next and it wasn't like a soap. No other women or big drama over swallow things, just some war and the man you like even if he's slaughtering others in a war. Of course, the stories not always perfect. You have to spend a lots of time with a warlord, so there are stupid reasons sometimes for staying by his side, but still... This is one of the best games for mobile device.

It's comig!! - My hero academia: School briefs, vol.6

I've been reading these books with these slice of life stories last year and I've seen vol 6 japanese version on twitter. I look it up once in a while to see, if it released in english so far, but no luck up until now. The promising amazon screen made my hart flutter since they kept the japanese cover.

The light novel for My hero academia has officially approved by Horikoshi sensei, and they are very light but fun stories we are missing from the anime itself. It presents a little daily life of the characters. Fun little cute stories about their normal and easy life between all that's going on in the manga/anime.

I especially like the sakura theme of the cover. I'm fond of the pastellike colours, and to not say anything too much, I also like the shape and the touch of all of these books, so It's a great happiness only to touch them (I'm a book addict, I love the smell and touch of real books but there is a few more valuable than others). I should write some review stuff, but I'm not sure. Let me know if you are interested.

All together, I'm looking forward to get my hands on it next spring.

First post and Warm Welcome stuff

Hello everyone, and also welcome to my new blog!

I'm planning to have something like this in the past few months but I'm not quite sure if I'll have time or will to get on with it. If not, then sorry... If yes, then welcome here and get yourself cozy with a tea for starters.

I'm obsessed with otome games since I found my first mobile version of it, which was Ikemen Sengoku.

With my fist game I've tried to keep myself low profile as always. Anyother words; I tried to play only free of charge yet the story became tough on me and I ended up making my first google pay payment ever in my life on a FREE mobile game?? Yes. I did. No regrets.

It was back in marc 2021, straight after my return to the UK after my greatly treasured grandmother passed away and I've spent one months with the preparations on her funeral. No wonder, I wanted to escape reality.

BUT...

I never really stopped playing.

I mean.. I played several routes of that game (not all of them, because I'm not interested in everyone and it's costy.) Then I played a few smaller games like Lost fate of the Oni before trying out Ikement prince and Mystic Messenger and then... I made my first purchase on a PC game!

Means, I recently bought Amnesia: Memories on steam, and you know... After playing otome games on mobile screen for one and a half years, I've felt it odd, to play it on my laptop, and I thought it wouldn't be that fun as  just carry the phone around with my actual cute boyfriend on screen.

But I was wrong.

It was the game made me create this blog, so wait for me, there will be other content and I'm also planning to upgrade my gaming experience in a few days or weeks since only one Amnesia is available on steam out of three, and I'm willing to play it all, along with other games not to be purchased on steam.

Yes, my REAL boyfriend - I have one I promise - said, "It is concerning enough to waste your gamer lapotop on playing otome games", but I can not agree less. These games are so fun, and has a story that most high resolution games can't give you (Maybe there is a few exceptions like Beyond two souls and Detroit: Become human).

I'm sorry for blurting out so much of my non sense, but it's pretty nice to meet you here. I'm looking forward to the time together. Minagi-chan over and out!
