Piofiore Fated Memories - After game thoughts (with spoilers)

I've just finished Piofiore, and I'm speechless, but I'll start it from the very beginning.

I got started with this one at the end of February. I used to play these games without trying to get the best endings and for the first time, I'm just honest. This is how I ended up on Dante's route.

Dante is a sweet guy, I think he is still my favorite since then. But his route took my life away for weeks so I had to keep myself away from it. It was probably because I played it with fewer and didn't feel well anyway.

After returning to the game, I made sure to choose a character to keep me entertained. I got into the game so much on Yang's route! It was so interesting and fast pace, that I realized, I found Dante's route rather boring. I mean... Lili was safe all of the time by the side of Dante, but Yang... could kill her if she said something wrong. Whatever, I unexpectedly loved him! He is horrible, and I'd never love anyone like him in real life but in the game, he had the absolute best route!

Everyone was interesting to me after Yang but I realized, I should have followed the recommended order which is Nicola, Yang, Dante, Orlok, and Gilbert who will unlock the final route.

It's interesting, how the common route is very short, I didn't even know, when I got on the route first. It was unexpected because you gain more and more with every route you complete. I also liked the number of saving slots, since I like to save a lot and keep them for later. The music and the art of the characters are first class, I really liked everyone. The stories are interesting, and the end that you can unlock after playing through every route is the best. I liked how there is a main story and every route built around it, but non touch the story of the other routes except for the real ending at the very end, which is parallel with Gil's route for a few chapters. I really enjoyed the game, I think it will be one of my favorites.

About the characters

I'll include this here because I'm not planning to review them one by one.

Dante: I started with Dante, he is a soft, nice guy. His speech is very calming, and I enjoyed his character so much. I could definitely imagine a guy like him in real life as my boyfriend, but his route wasn't as interesting for me. It felt too safe, it felt too good, even though he was a fated love for Lili. Actually, I also liked the idea of fated lovers. It's just as interesting as the childhood friend, especially after we find out how Dante liked us since he first saw Lili at the church... but he had to keep his distance. After his route, I thought there wasn't any more to the story, and it kind of seemed right in anyone else's route until the very last route. I was surprised that the story had so much to it.

Yang: I'll be honest. I didn't think, I'll like him. I didn't even like him as I did like Dante, but also I enjoyed him. He was interesting, he was dangerous. His story wasn't boring for a minute, it was amazing. Kept me wondering if he will ever feel the love! I wasn't very surprised by the tragic ending, but the good end did surprise me, I couldn't quite get how on earth could that be a good end, even the tragic end was better.

Nicola: I spent lots of time with hating Nicola quietly in other routes but it turned out, he was a decent guy. I thought he will betray Lili or there will be something in the tragic end which is connected to his sneaky behavior. But... no, he wasn't anything like that. He even had an amazing best end and a sweet good end. Even in his tragic ending, he kept Lili close and needed her. It was shocking... because Lili had to wait for him all alone. Without a pet, without seeing anyone in the manor... behind her door. I usually don't mind these kinds of situations, but hers was a really bad, unexplained one. I could not find a real reason for imprisoning her.

Orlok: He was a sweet guy, and even though most of the reviews stated he was boring, he wasn't for me. He was special, he was innocent and loveable. He had the saddest best ending and the cruelest tragic ending. That ending burned into me, I enjoyed it a lot, but he didn't deserve that life. I'd save him on my back as he is so cute and pure. Even his best ending was surprising in a little negative way.

Gil: I found his looks are the most convincing. I loved the eyepatch, and his route was also interesting, but I just didn't get how he ended up as the unlockable character. His route didn't contain any spoilers about the ending, and we didn't get any more info about this whole story. Even though, he ended up being the half of the very true ending.

Henry: He had a very small route of a few chapters. It was heartwarming with one ending. I actually liked him even though he turned out to be the direttore who was the most suspicious person of all through the game. I liked his ending and their innocent relationship.

Bustafellows - Limbo's route !Spoiler alert!

Unexpectedly, Limbo proved to be a little more interesting than I thought. At first, he looks like just that boy, who you fell in love with, because he looks so good, but had nothing behind him. But he... no he was actually a sweet boy with shady businesses.

He has a normal family, and he does a very good job. He has different views of justice, but you can see how he is actually right. But apart from him being cute, and his route...

There is this guy Navid. Navid is an old friend of Limbo's, but he also... is a weird person. I was thrilled with joy when I read his first attempt to make Limbo suffer. He actually told him, he will get a bomb go of under the heroine and she will become no more than PINK MIST! I mean... I grew up with horror movies, and I love this kind of approach. The route was interesting because Teuta was constantly in danger without knowing, but I knew, and I didn't always have the chance to choose what to do or say.

At some point, Navid made Teuta kill herself. I mean, he tried hard... And I managed to get both ends. It was pretty sweet at the end of the Good ending, where Limbo was happy but also... I enjoyed the Bad ending so much!

I liked how they made good use of this power of hers, just as in Scarecrow's route. Even though I thought she would use it more often. Not as if it was needed...

Even Though I enjoyed this route, I didn't see the flames of love between these two, which bothered me a little. I know about the B side, but I still haven't played it after not enjoying Crow's B side. Also, I just can't wait to play Mozu or Shu but I'm still lazy to start it on the computer so I keep playing other games on the lite.

Amnesia memories - After game thoughts

I know, I know... I should have posted this a few months ago, but I was busy playing other games. Shhh... Let's start at the very beginning.

A brief year ago, I was still on my mobile otome game and didn't quite know about the shady world of Nintendo games. I mean... 2D guys, a couple of photos, a few bg music and a good story. I didn't think highly of the industry. Even when I bought Amnesia back in November, I thought of it as some cheap game. I'll get myself through while I'm bored as I usually do around winter afternoons.

Soon after starting the game, I knew, it was a grave mistake to underestimate the game, because I loved the story dearly. As usual, I planned to get the game and play Shin's route. He is the cover boy, and I liked his looks. After playing Shin, the game drew me in and I naturally played all the other routes one by one without getting bored of the game or the guys. And in the end, I was thrilled, because I got this amazing game on a Steam discount for less than 4 pounds.

To be quick and spoiler free, the game is about a young girl, who happens to lose her memories without a cause and starts seeing a very kind and friendly ghost, who's willing to help her get her memories back in order to get himself separated again.

It is a multiple-dimensional game. Every love interest has his own world and the heroine's memories always belong to the actual world. Before the girl (US) wakes up, we can choose the world to wake up in. The worlds are marked with the French card's motives, so we shouldn't know which world is which world until someone starts an interaction with us in a world.

Orion, our spirit companion warns us that there could be bad people who exploit our amnesia, so we have to keep it secret as long as we can trust someone enough to tell them. We can actually reach a point when we talk about even Orion. Isn't it sound quite crazy?

There are also gauges to tell the levels of trust, affection and suspicion. Our job is to rise trust and affection and to keep suspicion low. Also, there is a doubt gauge in one of the routes, and I missed it from another route too. It was a shame, that we didn't have it.

The end of the game then finally gives an explanation of everything that happened in the game. Some never liked it and others did. As far as I've seen other otome gamers, not much of them had it as a favourite from who I know from Instagram, but I hope there are others like me. It was an exciting game from the start, and I even fell in love with the biggest red flag in the game. Actually, I think, from all the otome red flags, he is the one who I really understood. And probably that is why I never felt like he was a red flag.

The game has a few mini-games built in and a few stories from the love interests point of view. I really recommend clearing them. They aren't only to unlock the achievements but they are also really good. I liked especially Shin's story.

As most of you might already know, this is how I bought my first Nintendo. I was browsing the internet, reading all the reviews on the blogs, and I found new photos of the game. This led me to a blog stating facts about the fan disc. I was pretty lucky because the English translation just came out last year as far as I know, so I was just in time to get it at the highest price from the USA. I bought a Nintendo switch lite because it's cute enough and I planned to sell it after playing this one game!! (but since then I've spent a fortune on other otome games, and instead of selling it, I'll play it until rotten)

I'll make sure to post a few spoiler-rich route discussions for those who already finished the game. I hope I'll get a few comments on what you thought of the game and the characters.

Keep safe and play as much as you can!

Bustafellows - Scarecrow's route !Spoiler alert!

I've been playing through myself so hard in these games, that I forgot to take some time to review one another routes or so.

I wish to mention this game, Bustafellows.

The game has this weird title, and the weird boys in it. Almost all of them are charming, but today I'll highlight Crow-chan.

At first, I like to experience every otome, as a real adventure, so I never use a guide. I'm not playing for the good ending, I'm doing everything for my personal real ending. That is how I ended up on this route. I was pretty honest and I clumsily ruined my chances to be loved by Limbo. But I actually didn't mind, since Scarecrow is sweet. And yes, he has a story. The route was also interesting for me, and I ended up enjoying the game despite the hardships at the beginning.

I don't want to dive deep into the controlling of the game in this post, but this was the hardship part. I bought it on steam, and it definitely wasn't perfect for pc, but I learnt the lesson.

So, the whole common route isn't just started as a lovey-dovey story and ended up being sweet. No. It started as a crime, and it had a noir taste a little. At least for me. The city seems to be a big city like New York, but it is called New Sieg. Also we have this shady feeling of something's off in the background, but it is usually chill and fun with the guys.

To not to talk about the others, let's go with Crow straightaway. He is a hacker and he has this big luxurious house where we all live. It didn't caught me off-guard that I ended up in the hackers route, I do have something going on with hackers honestly. And also I like sweet guys. Well... too.

His route made us know him a little more. I think I got close to him somewhere inside. There was also a fun twist. I mean I thought it would be fun, but at the end it wasn't. And also... it was forceful, not fun and not used well.

And here is where my spoiler starts.

So... there we got this chapter which is actually the route's A side. And in the teaser, we can catch a glimpse of Crow being really gap moe, and attempts to kill the heroine. That seem somehow interesting, but deeper in the story when we realize what truly happens, it isn't fun. It is... another personality disorder or something? It ends up as a little drama, but nothing more. They ended up together, and so the personality isn't seem to be bothering them further... which is... WHAT? honestly... Okay, I still wasn't able to unlock the further episodes, and I don't know what to expect. But this is weird.

And the worst possible way they ruined his route was the B side of the story. Scarecrow being all cute and lovely more a boy than a man, but very worthy of love and... The MC I liked all the way through the route, suddenly acts soooooo mean towards this nice guy. She is rude, not fun and likeable on the B side anymore. Crow is still cute, and it was not enjoyable for me to see him treated like that. I wish I never played B side. It should have been a treat to get some cute romance, but the girl ended up bullying the guy who likes him. I'm not sure what to think. They probably meant it just as teasing as a couple, but it didn't come through for me.

What your thoughts was of B side? Let me know down below the comment section. See you all later!

Code: Realize Lupin's route

Lupin's first chapter is already reaching my expectations. Finally the story ends up where I wanted it to end up.

He is a very gentle person. He calls the girl Lady and his smooth talking unexpectedly worked on me.

He is the guy I usually go after for the first look, but his personality actually totally different. I don't quite like the smooth talkers, but Lupin didn't make me angry at all. All his talks and flatters just suited his gentlemen style, and I felt it pretty honest. Maybe because he is one of the LI's in an otome game. Should be perfect.

His story also gave me what I wanted for first. Actually.. I missed a proper ending from all the routes. I think the story should have ended even if we aren't fall in love with Lupin.

This is the first route where it was possible to see Isaac Beckford who we all are looking for.

In the meantime I realized, why I wasn't right earlier. Impey's and Saint-Germain's route really did spoil Lupins route a littlebit.

I finally came to understand what a true ending means in this game. It actally means, the others didn't reach an end only a love end. ?

Lupin's last two chapters are the longest in the whole story. It gives us a proper end to the story. He is a complete gentleman, and pretty cute. But at this point, let me be honest... I haven't quite fall for him. Hard to admit, but in the whole game Impey and Victor are the best and for me... Impey won the prize. Even if he fell into my MUST AVOIDS labelled basket (long haired guys).

However, he was pretty cute and he even gave us signs in the common route not as all the others.

Code: Realize Impey's route

Let me tell you, I am the most impressed by the fact, Impey's route was my favourite.

I left him for last before Lupin, because... I have a pretty swallow reason, but how else could I choose without knowing them.. I just didn't like his long hair. Actually, I don't like long haired LIs. Fact.

BUT

After the scene which taken place right before the illegal airship battle, I guessed, there will be a little more in Impey than a dumb womanizer.. But the great hit came in his route.

I wasn't very intrested in him so I was like... Let's go through it fast to get Lupin. Since... Lupin is just my type.

I tried reading it pretty fast at the beginning, but after the first choices when I could actually give him positive feedback, made my heart flutter.

He is pretty precious. He is even kinder than Victor and he is a funbag, which is kind of annoying... I know, I like fun and I like fun guys, but joking with my feelings isn't half fun. And also I know how much I love Seven from MysticMessenger. But he is actually fun from the beginning. Impey needs some time to be understood.

When I've seen him being an engineer, I though that I could like him with short hair... But I didn't mean it this way.

He came up with this idea of the moon which is kind of ridicilous in the victorian england. And he was joking about women, also with my non existing love stuff. Isn't it... Weird?

But after telling him stuff, he grew on me.

Hes cute face after hearing me saying I'm happy being his soulmate or seeing him being happy after telling him I loved him out of panik... Well... Made me seriously like him a lot.

Also.. After I didn't really like Saint-Germain's route, because of several different reasons, it was pretty refreshing to jump into Impey's route. This route gave this cute feeling that I'm in love with a pretty normal guy who is actually pretty weird and crazy in a way, but also serious towards "me".

He would sacrifice his life for mine. And I know, I know... Every single one of them would. But for an immortal and a war sinner it is different.

Impey was the only one out of 4 who wasn't broken under the pressure of hes own sin. He was the one character suffering from the sins the other characters carried. And you know what?! It was another busstop on the love express. He has a pure heart, and it was another refreshing fact after so many revenge.

I will even go that far to state Impey's route was the most enjoyable for me.

Hes personality had several bulletpoint that eventually melts my heart.

1, he is passionate about his goal (it is even better that it's in connection with the space)

2, he is fun. It is annoying at the beginning, but honestly I usually like fun guys.

3, he is pure, innocent and worthy for love.

4, he is also a pretty good engineer.. That could be the victorian version of a hacker (I'm usually crushing on hackers)

Also... I was absolutely aware of the girls poison, but Impey was the first Character I wished he would kiss that girl. He had the opportunity but he didn't show his beast side. I hope that will change in future blessings.

Code: Realize Saint-Germain's route

I was a little surprised. It was a very nice change for first. We're kidnapped by Saint-Germain and he made these little hint's about him being creepy. Brrr.

He had a pretty good reason to exterminate "us" so we should be understaning. But still. I'm not the type to hate the yandere type. I was also fond of Toma in Amnesia, but Sain-Germain was different in several differen ways.

Honestly, this route came as lightning. I was pretty happy, that I didn't go with him for first and second. Also I think, Impey's route which I have left, won't be able to beat it. I think this is the game where you have to do everyone in a good order and Saint-G goes as last before Lupin.

I read something about one route spoiling other routes, but it can't be true, as the story isn't the same. There is games like Mystic messenger where the background story is the same and you are just there to experience it from different angles.

Code: Realize isn't this type of a game. Each character has different route with different enemy, which only makes sense if you look at the routes as individuals.

Saint-Geirmain's route was the first, where someone ever mentioned a thing about Isaac Beckford. They are looking for this guy, and I just never understood, how can we reach a good ending without finding what we are looking for..?

Also a thing I didn't quite like. Their progression was far too fast at the beginning, and the whole thing turned out just too fast. I had smilar feeling with Victor an Van Helsing as they are only 5 chapers long too, but this one was soo promising idea, and it could have been a little more detailed for me.

Anyway. An interesting idea and I loved Omnibus. She looks like my grandmother's sister. She was quite heart warming. The headquarters was also a pretty nice place. Stuck in a very nice spring afternoon doesn't sound half bad. To be honest, it might sounds a little boring but I could imagine myself in a life like that. For a while. Or so.

The happy ending didn't seem as happy as it was for the others. First time I thought it was a normal end that I'm getting. It just finished to promise a sequel...

I was definitely thrilled when Saint-G opened his eyes for the first time. He looked much better, than before and he was also weird but cute. He didn't become my favourite at all, but I liked his extra.

I liked, how many possibility I had to die from only one mistake, but apart from that, I'm sure if it is not possible to reach a normal or bad ending at the very end. I looked up on the normal end and someone managed to reach it. I tried rejecting the offer from Omnibus but I still had the same ending.
